petition to change the name of this hobby/pursuit/passion/whatever the fuck from "synthesizers" to "troubleshooting midi bullshit"

Also why is it that you can leave two fucking cables in a room not touching each other, go to the kitchen to get a drink, come back and find them hopelessly tangled up in each other. this whole fucking shit is stupid and i hate it
