Currently on paid FMLA leave through WA state due to having a baby (who spent 86 days in the NICU). Unfortunately the state moves at a glacial pace and I’ve still got a couple of weeks pending payment that should come any day. (4k~ owed to me). Just hoping to give myself a little breathing room for the next couple of days.

With the 5/6 weeks payments I’m backlogged on receiving I’m a little short on my rent ($1800 total a month)

Private landlord is very… serious about receiving rent by the 5th and I’ve got a unicorn of an apartment paying far below market rate.

I’ve been here since 2018. They’re chomping at the bits for any excuse- like a late payment- to not renew my month-to-month lease and get someone else in here paying much much more. With the baby and Seattle rental market I’d be up 💩 creek if I had to move.

My lease has been month-to-month since 2018 when I moved in and the landlord insists on keeping it that way. I’d hate to find myself in that spot over $600 😩

Happy to provide any proof/documentation needed showing income headed my way in time for repayment. TIA for considering this big assist!!
