Worried about having the energy I’ll need once the baby arrives 😮💨
I’m reaching out because I could really use some support. Most of my adult life I've been active, but the last couple of years, stress and life responsibilities have taken priority over self-care. In the year before my pregnancy, I gained over 20 lbs, and since then, I’ve struggled to get back into a consistent workout routine. Most weeks in this pregnancy so far I've felt extreme exhaustion and sleep a ton to cope, with only a few good days here and there..
I’m worried about having the energy I’ll need once the baby arrives. I want to stay active, but between work stress and everything else, I end up doing a couple of days and then giving up. I try to get walks in as a bare minimum, but even that hasn’t been consistent.
Has anyone else faced this? What strategies helped you stay consistent, even in short bursts or during busy weeks? Any tips or small routines that actually stick would mean a lot. Thanks!
