Fibroepithelial lesion favoring fibroadenoma

Hi guy,

I had two biopsies done back in February, came back benign. I was recommended to see a breast specialist due to the size and pathology findings on the right side lump. Results for this came back at fibroepithelial lesion favoring fibroadenoma.

They are recommending surgery to remove this lump however they are leaving the ball in my court meaning it doesn’t have to get removed immediately ( she said it is not an emergency situation). I have a follow up appointment with her and ultra sound follow up around the same time so I am thinking about just waiting until then to proceed with the surgery. I have no pain, redness, etc in the area. It’s about 2cm in size.

Just wanting to get feedback from some folks who may have gone through the same thing.
