Conformance Video for Student not saying Pledge of Allegiance?

Has anyone heard anything about making a student watch a 'Conformance Video' for not standing up and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance? I thought that as long as a student was not disruptive that they did not have to participate. Since when do children get sent to view 'Conformance Videos'?
