Any recommendations?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for Harry Potter fanfics where Harry refuses to follow Dumbledore’s plans and basically stops being a pawn. For example, fics where he doesn’t go after the Philosopher’s Stone (maybe he returns it to its owner or lets the goblins handle it), and applies that same mindset to other “tests” throughout the story. I’d love to read a version of Harry who is intelligent, questions things, and gets help from competent adults instead of being thrown into everything alone. Ideally, a more grey/neutral/darker Harry who decides he’s not responsible for fighting someone else’s war. I don’t mind any ships, as long as the story is well-written. Any recommendations? Thanks!
