Question About Ahimsa Interference Ethics
Hello, I only know the basic ideas of Jainism. I was wondering if someone would be able to offer an answer to my question:
If someone follows Ahimsa, would they interfere with with a violent situation?
As in, if someone is being attacked, would it be in a Jainists' ethics to protect them from the attacker?
I assume if it's another human attacking, they would attempt to persuade nonviolence through words, but if someone was being attacked by let's say, a lion, would a Jainist interfere? And what would that interference look like?
Thank you for reading and for any answers!
