My partner and I are looking for a F for a FFM - I am hurt and weirded out by the age of the Fs my partner is looking for.
My partner (m 35) and I (f 35) have been together for 3.5 years now and have started looking for another woman to join us for a threesome. In the past, we already spent some lovely evenings with 2 other women, ending up in bed together, but then lost contact with them due to individual life circumstances.
We now decided to make some new contacts and have started looking, just casually, during our freetime activities.
My partner decided to create accounts on dating apps, too, but as I am not a fan of these apps I haven't been following his activities there. He recently sent me a picture of a woman he found on one of these apps, saying she might be interested. I asked for some more details but all of a sudden he became very taciturn in his replies. That stuck me as odd and after a bad night of sleep over this I decided to do what I was not supposed to do... and created some fake profiles on the app my partner mentioned. First, I created one with the alter ego being the same age as my partner and me, but I could not find him. Then, I thought that perhaps he might be looking for someone slightly younger than us, and so I created a profile with the age of 27 but still, no results. I finally made one saying to be 22 years old, and within a minute or so, I found my partner as a potential match.
Turns out: he has set his searching parameters for women from 18 to 25. That made me speechless at first, and then those feelings turned into hurt and anger. Why doesn't he set the age range up to our age? I know I am not 25 any more and I have been getting some fine lines on my face here and there, but THAT is just a punch in the gut.
Perhaps I am exaggerating, perhaps I am fighting a losing battle against male biology or something... I don't know, I just know that I really need to get this off my chest.
To be honest: my pride is hurt.
I hate getting older, I hate that I cannot be that super young woman at the beginning of her twenties anymore for my partner, but on the other hand, I don't want to feel bad for bad for aging.
I am so emotionally confused right now.
Thanks for reading this.
