Annual leave in training period?

Hi I’m due to start a new role in the summer (not 100% sure when as I’m going through some preliminary admin stuff - probably June ). I’m really stressed as if I start with training and stuff will I not be able to go for my holiday which I’ve booked?

How long is realistically too long to take off as a newbie to a role?

Is this something that’s happened before?

Thanks
