animation program

i’m currently a second year at FIU looking to transfer to literally any other schools animation program, and i wanted to ask how the animation program is at fsu? does it work with the film school? Or are they their own thing? I know the deadline for this year was in January, but is there anything i can do to apply after i enroll in the school even though ill already be a 3rd year? or is it just too late in general? Do you get a lot of creative freedom in the classes? Is there anything connections to the industry you made while going there? thank you!
