Other teeth tender post extraction

I had my upper right wisdom tooth out last week and I am now on day 8 post extraction, had my follow up yesterday and the dentist confirmed it’s healing well and no signs of dry socket woo. But the other teeth on the same side as the extraction are all really tender especially when I bite down and that side is achy.

I’ve been eating mostly on the other side and slowly moving onto harder foods.

Has anyone else experience this? Does it improve?

Weirdly the actual socket is giving me no issue
