Question on interior colors?

Maybe a dumb question, but is Ford's "Charcoal Black" their way of saying black? My car's original window sticker claims the interior is Charcoal Black, and I need a new steering wheel as my current one is really chewed up (and preferably one with Cruise Control), but I don't know if an eBay-listed "black" steering wheel would be darker(?) than my car's interior.
