Why do people hate Wago and similar connectors? They are great for reliability when vibration is a problem.
We had brand-factory-new equipment trucked directly to the installation site that had about 50 wire nuts that had to be checked and tightened or re-fitted.
After the first delivery, which had multiple failures, we started opening every j-box and tugging every wire, or twisting every wire nut (I love the little twisting driver which apparently is no longer sold since the advent of the hex adapter) and then tugging on each wire. It was hours of work just to have to do it with each delivery.
After many discussions with the factory floor managers, we got the factory to change to Wagos, there were no more problems.
The distance from the factory was less than 500 miles by mostly highway.
I realize that some of the first connectors were insufficient and caused overheating, but is that still happening?
