Do we actually have an option to wait to be motivated? Or is it a luxury to have some time before we can act?

Quote of the Day

Shloka (Bhagavad Gita 3.19):
तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर ।
असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पुरुषः ॥

You're waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for the right moment.
Waiting for motivation to arrive.

Krishna has one thing to say about that —
Stop waiting.
Perform your duty constantly, without attachment.
The person who acts without craving the fruit —
that person achieves the highest.

Not the most talented person.
Not the most motivated person.
The most consistent and unattached person.

Motivation is unreliable. Duty is not.
Feelings change. Action doesn't have to wait for them.

Do what must be done.
Whether you feel like it or not.
That is Karma Yoga in its purest form.
