Reddit subs have way too many rules

Its actually so hard to find a sub to post on. I understand rules like no troll content, format the title etc etc. But some rules are genuinely just so stupid

The worst one is when they tell you to use the weekly thread. My brother your subreddit gets 5 posts a day, nothing is going to happen if I post something that is RELATED to the subreddit, but is apparently a "common topic".

The only reason I ask reddit questions is to get more personalized human advice. If its a busy subreddit that's hard to moderate, I get it. But alot of subreddits aren't even like that.

And the weekly thread is just never active. Barely anyone goes on them.

at this point I'm starting to think that chatgpt is better than this app. Because even if I do manage to find a sub and obey all the rules, half the time the answers are some unfunny sarcastic reddit humour answers, or no one answers.

Also, is it really that serious to be having so much rules? Do people actually care about reddit subreddits to that level, where if something which is still related to the sub but pops up sometimes gets posted, they get mad?

I wouldn't be surprised if this post gets deleted aswell
