I keep getting ads for these online and they looked interesting to me and I'm wondering if anyone has used these or anything like it.

I currently have a custom wooden and grid cage that is a little bigger than 6x2 and had 4 female guinea pigs. One is about 5ish, two are 4.25 years old and one is turning 2 this summer.

I am moving to New York City this summer and will have much less space and I'm trying to think about possibly redoing my current cage. I want it to look a little neater and blend in and I keep coming across these panels targeted ads on Instagram. I don't want to mention the name of the brand because I don't want it to seem like this is an advertisement.

I'm a little conflicted. I love how neat it looks but I also love how the grids allow me to hang things easily, give the girls a lot of climbing opportunities, and they also bite on it for attention. I also have my problems with the grids as one of my guinea pigs is severely undersized and got stuck in one of them when she was younger, which was a horrible experience.

While the acrylic does look nice, I worry it may not be as versatile and also the guinea pigs may not enjoy it. I really like when they come up to the bars of the cage and kind of use it to stand up and ask for treats and attention and I don't know if they would be able to do that as easily on these acrylic tiles.

Has anyone tried those new acrylic tiles with cutouts? Thinking of a cage redesign for an NYC move.
