Who Should Be The Next President Of FIGC & Open To A Non Italian CT
I feel like the best candidate is Roberto Baggio as president of FIGC to restore Italian soccer and rebuild the whole foundation from the ground up.
I would also be open to someone like Demetrio Albertini or Paolo Maldini in that role.
I would really like to see these ex players be a part of the FIGC & National Team to help rebuild tge foundation and restore the glory to italy
Alessandro Del Piero - he has a passion and a drive and could definitely be someone who can help future development of strikers and forwards.
Marco Delvecchio - he knows first hand what a bad organization can do to players as he was basically ruined by Roma ... but he was a phenomenal player and could be a great creative mind and help fix Italian soccer
GianLuca Zambrotta - he could help develop true defenses and make bring back what Italy was known for and thats solid concrete defenses that were hard to get through and defenses that were dominate in set pieces
Now I am open to the idea of non Italian CT to change the culture and get away from the failed new Italian soccer whixy hasnt worked and Italian soccer hasnt seen good days since 2012.
Many would say Pepe Guardiola and I say please no because he ONLY goes well when you spend the whole bank to buy him players and isnt really known to build a team around a gamestyle over time. You cant just buy a national team. I also am firmly against Jose Mourinho whos well passes prime and his game style and approach has declined and failed more then succeeded
I do think there is a possible non italian candidates who could work
Cesc Fabregas - what he has done with Como is nothing short of true brilliance and hes shown he works well with limited talent, youth and can develop a game style around the players he has
