Yuna in Alicante/Spain
Hello beautiful nerds. I would like to read your thoughts on this. We are expecting our second child in a couple of weeks. We are a multicultural family with roots in Germany and Spain. Our kids are growing up with 4 languages Spanish (Castellano), Valencian, German and English and we are living in Spain. So one of the main criteria for our kids names is for them to be easily pronounced in all four languages. Our first born son's name is Dante. Our current favorite for our baby girl is Yuna. I love the sound and it combines a lot of things for us. My husband spent some time in Japan and has a loving relationship with the country. The sound of the name is also something very regional as the word Lluna (pronounced the same) means Moon in Valencian. But there also lies a problem Yuna is going to live in the Valencian area, we are prepared to correct the spelling whenever the name needs to be written down. I am not sure how much of a fuzz this is going to be. What do you guys think?
