Help Choosing SoF Cities

My husband & I are taking a 10 trip to the French Riviera in July. Antibes really appeals to us for one half & we're trying to decide on a second city. We like the idea of Nice as a base to explore some more cities but maybe we should just stay put in another city?

We loved Sorrento & Florence last summer & are hoping to find those kinds of vibes. We know it's not the same country & have been to France twice but never this region.
