Is IUST worth it?

I am from a lower middle class family. I will hv to go for the self finance seat because I could nt sit for the first JEE and I vl only score less than 50 in the April one. Perhaps not even that. I was in my drop year but due to family issues I could not study. 2 lakhs is a very big sum for my father. Is it worth it? I wl work hard but should I opt for other options then? Everyone says a BTech from iust will land you nowhere. I have a 50% scholarship from another DU college. What should I do? I HAVE to be financially independent by the time I graduate. Please help a fellow out. It is a very huge sum for me. Should I consider other degrees from other Universities? .
