I always imagined going away to college would be like leaving my old life in the dust, goodbye to parents and everything else in the past. But the most unexpected thing this year, in my second semester, is how much I've been texting with daddy.

After the divorce way back when I mostly grew up with mom. I found myself missing you more and more while at college, especially after breaking up with my boyfriend a few weeks ago. I reached out to you, and you were there for me.

Soon we were texting every day, getting to know each other all over again, and having a conversation that got increasingly private ... at times even flirty. It has been fun testing my limits with you, and you seem to be doing the same.

Today is the day that we started texting again, and finally crossed the line. But we haven't found our limits yet, have we?
