Are we following true version of islam?

Question(s)❔

Disclaimer: read complete post and only read this post if you are knowledgeable in islamic affairs, otherwise dont

firstly, I'm not a guy with post modernistic mindset so don't judge me and I'm a guy with pure rigid islamic ideologies. So i personally really do doubt ghamdi sahib's intentions and i sometimes think he's working for American agencies or atleast isi bcz of his political ideologies and his fiqh matters, but i consider his main basic philosophy to be totally true and legendary

so his basic philosophy is that islam was a liberal and softer religion till the death of prophet pbuh but after his death, sahabis made islam strict and rigid,(especially hazrat umar r.a), following him the 4 imams made islam 10 times stricter,i think this is totally true

Bcz this is not the first time in 1400 years we are talking about this, even in the companions some knowledgeable companions such as hazrat Abdullah ibn abbas r.a always stood on the liberal side of the things whereas majority of the sahabis stood on the rigid side of the things, this is a clear proof

these are not just small things, till the time of hazrat abu bakar r.a mutah was halal, nabidh(some type of alcohols) were sold in the markets and people used to drink till the point of intoxication, non sexual music was halal, free mixing was okay to an extent, hijab was fard but it was not viewed as it is viewed today as we know the dressings of concubines at that time which i can't even mention here

do you guys think this is a co incedence that shia sect is pretty liberal if compared to sunni sect?. tbh i don't blame kids who are turning atheist bcz it's their fitrah desires that are causing them become this, and when liberals say that islam is a rigid religion they are true to some extent, bcz it's not the religion of prophet pbuh which is rigid infact this is the religion of sahabis and 4 imams who made it rigid.

so what's your view?
