The crew blessed us with a stream last night and the Dogs delivered a fantastic show for both those who made it to Charlottesville and those of us checking in from out of town. So awesome to see the triumphant return of No Quarter, not to mention one of the best 1st sets of the tour so far.

The tour bus keeps rolling, dipping down into Raleigh for a Saturday night shindig. Tonight marks the band's 6th show in the North Carolina capitol, where they first played back in '22 at the Pour House Music Hall (which, as far as I can tell, doesn't actually share an affiliation with the Charleston venue of the same name?). The Dogs have come back to Raleigh three times since - twice more at the Pour House & once at Casual Campout - before graduating to the Lincoln Theatre in 2025.

That visit in last April immediately entered the pantheon of all-time great Dogs shows. It'll be difficult to top that performance, but if anyone's up for the challenge, it's the Dogs.

Natalie Brooke returns to open tonight, note that the show starts about 30 minutes later than most of the bookings on this tour so far. After today's event, the Dogs will get Sunday off before a two-night, Monday/Tuesday booking at 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke to close the book on the southern leg of this Spring Tour.
