Is there a way to keep track of previously completed challenges?

I love doing the challenges, but find myself only doing ones that I’ve already completed. It shows that I’ve completed some of them on the map, yet others that I know I’ve done don’t show up as completed. Just looking for some help understanding it all, and wondering if there is a way to have them checked off.
