Leber V2 Stuck Trigger in SS After a Mag and a Half
Got a Leber V2 from Printnpew(great guy, but would like outside help). AP5 LT and Grey Market Research trigger, cam, and lever kit. During initial installation I noticed the trigger was just barely releasing the hammer at the end of the trigger pull and needed a harder squeeze. I shaved off material at the back and kept the radius as recommended and it worked in dry fire testing.(If using the charging handle it won't always forcefully reset the trigger due to partial rearward travel of the bolt). I achieved perfect reliability after a 30 round mag dump, but about 10 rounds into the 2nd mag, the trigger would seize on SS mode, with the inability to pull the charging handle. Works perfectly in semi auto. Taking it apart I noticed gouging between the cam forcing the forward reset and the radius of the trigger now gouged. I re-countoured the trigger to return the radius and smoothed out the gouge on the cam as best as I could. Tried it again at the range. 1 full mag reliable. Same seized trigger when only in SS 10 rounds into the 2nd mag. I think the tolerances are just too close. I really don't want to play this hours long game of testing, troubleshooting, and testing. I think the GMR trigger is a fantastic Super Safety as it functioned perfectly for hundreds of rounds in multiple ARs, but either the GMR SS or the specific Leber V2 just doesn't play nice. Thoughts?
