What is Snapchat circle right hand side of chat?

So I haven’t use snap for a while, butt use to whenever someone sent a chat, photo of video the status would show right under a persons name (like the square, or arrow icons). However, I just redownloaded and there is a circle on the right hand side of the panel (opposite of where it usually shows) and under the circle it says “snap”. What does this mean. Is this new way of Snapchat? Cause there is a “screenshot” icon under the name but the circle and “snap” on the right hand side. Not sure if that’s send directly to me or what that means. Thanks
