ASV advice? Rare bird?
I am basically healthy pre-retirement man no meds no conditions not obese I get good aerobic exercise. Moderate apnea like 15/hr.
Doc got me a cpap, works great some improvement. However after 6 weeks I still have nights at 25 events/hr or 15 events/hr and some nights almost zero but it is all central apneas not obstructive. It's not heart related.
Doc offered additional treatment. I can go in get in-person study and go towards getting an ASV machine. Or try a bipap first no study needed.
I figured just go straight to ASV since it's got everything and be set for life. Am I missing any drawbacks other than potential cost?
