What to expect for a cert III in IT?

I am considering my options for studying and currently looking at IT. I'm not super proficient in tech, I've built a few computers and I know my way around and was more or less raised by tech, but I don't know jack about programming/coding or anything like that. the course is advertised as "entry level" but that doesn't necessarily mean what my level is. I'm just wondering if I get into this if I'm going to be completely out of my depth, I would appreciate some insight from people in this subreddit.

it's worth mentioning as well I am located in Australia and the course is provided through tafe, cert III seems to be the only "entry level" available, there is no cert II or I.
