This politically-conscious protest track concentrates on the current plight of the Cuban people, due to the 60 years of crippling sanctions that they have endured.

Cuba's is a case of the highest cruelty, with America enforcing collective punishment on the Cuban public. Even removing their ability to have electricity, which is against many international agreements, US laws and general norms & morals.

Featured in this tune are Carlos Fernández de Cossío Domínguez (Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba), Steven Methven (journalist, Novara Media), 3 different Global Sumud Flotilla activists (Saif Abukeshek, Elo Gonzalez, Chris Smalls) and Mo Chara (Kneecap).

During this protest track we hear about some of the conditions in Cuba today, due to the cruel US sanctions, and I've also added a few clips to help reflect on Cuban solidarity from Palestine and Ireland, who both were supported in the past, via action, by Cuba, in their own battles against occupation and tyranny. I specifically want Irish-Americans to hear this message, and to let that sink in.

There is so much solidarity in the world, amongst it people, it is just our corrupt politicians and leaders that are hell bent on not doing the right thing. And some of those leaders need to be stopped immediately.

The US needs to pay for this long-term deliberate callousness. They need to be held to account, but first, all sanctions must be removed from Cuba. Cubans deserve a long-awaited chance to begin rebuilding their lives.

Self-determination forever!

Please consider joining one of the Cuban-bound flotillas, or support them, if you can do either. Cuban families have reached breaking point, quality-of-life-wise, thanks to the US regime.

Americans, please rise up against your government. They are criminals. Both war-mongering parties need to be voted out of all US legislation-producing/administering institutions. New politics are required. In fact, we all need new politics, not just those in the US.

Please help spread the word, about this important issue!
