Personal Interview

I am currently processing for a TS/SCI. I had my personal interview recently. It was to clarify why my poly showed a spike to a particular question. Mind you I had the poly done 2x already, my BI is done and I am close to a year in the process. I go In And it was another 4 hour Interrogation. I had nothing more to offer them than what I said before, and stated on my security forms. They dove deeper into each incident I stated, and asked why I didn’t talk about it on the Poly or with the BI, and I said no one ever asked. I walked out feeling like shit, feeling like my chances are gone. I am not even sure what step I am in the process. But this felt brutal. Is this stuff normal? And is there usually light at thy end of the tunnel after or is it up in the air?
