C1001 mmWave sensor reliability and false positives with ESP32?

Hi,

I’m working on a presence/fall detection project using a 60GHz C1001 mmWave sensor with ESP32-C6.

Before integrating it into my system, I wanted to understand real-world performance:

- How reliable is presence detection when the user is stationary?

- Do you see false positives or missed detections?

- Any issues with UART data stability or noise?

- Is additional filtering or combining with PIR necessary?

Also, if anyone has experience sourcing this sensor in India (Robu/Evelta), did you face any hardware quality issues?
