Becoming a travel agent
yes, I know travel agents don't make income unless they build a good clientele and even if they do, it takes a couple years to see a decent income. But I've tried everything. I've tried and tried traditional jobs. I even tried a job that kept me on the move so I wouldn't be stuck in one place all day. none of it I stuck with. I just have trouble leaving my home without someone I'm comfortable with which isn't many people. honestly just my husband. he's supportive but logically I need to make an income not rely all on him.
I have OCD, adhd, agoraphobia, bipolar(depression one I forgot if it was 1 or 2). and I can deal with customer service that's never what made me quit a job, just the having to be at home cuz of the pure panic of idek. all ok is I get really sick if I force myself to do stuff my brain doesn't want me to. and I stay sick or get worse. yes I also have an autoimmune disease, idk which one, Im a wimp when it comes to doctor test. all I let them do was a blood test which only confirmed I have an autoimmune disease but doesn't confirm WHICH one. either way I can't even afford all the other tests.
so yeah a list of stuff not just one thing.
You think if I manage to build a clientele, being a travel agent will be worth it with my state? I mean doesn't hurt to try but I do have to pay for liability insurance before making a decision hence why I'm here. I'll be able to do a shut off time and tell my clients I won't be available after let's say 8pm so it's not like I HAVE to be available 24/7 unless of course emergencies with booking.
I really want this to work. I need an income even if it does take a couple years to see progress. I just need it.
my husbands supportive but he's the only true support I have, most friends gave up on my ability to handle a job and just sticking to gig apps...
will I make it?
