Playing Nis games in order?

Hey everyone.

I'm currently playing through Disgaea game. I have beaten Prinny Baal on D1 and I'm currently almost finished with the main story of D2. I don't know if I will 100% it like D1 for this one.

Do you think it's worthwhile checking other NIS games before continuing my journey? If so what games would you recommend?

I tried playing La Pucelle before D2 but I didn't really liked the gameplay.
