Hi everyone, I’m the developer of **MusicCovered**.

I created MusicCovered for people who truly care about their local music library and want a more visual, album-focused way to browse and enjoy their collection on macOS.

MusicCovered is built exclusively for local audio files stored on your Mac. It is not a streaming app, and it is not designed around playlist-first listening. The goal is to offer a different kind of experience: one that puts albums, cover art, tracklists, and visual browsing at the center.

The app is especially aimed at people who see their music library as more than just a list of files. If you care about organized albums, artwork, metadata, and the feeling of exploring a real collection, MusicCovered is designed around that idea.

It includes multiple visual browsing modes, including **CoverFlow**, a strong focus on album presentation, quick library navigation, playlist support, and an overall interface built to make local music collections feel more immersive and enjoyable to explore.

As for how it relates to Apple Music: I know many Mac users still keep a personal music library alongside or outside of streaming, and that is where MusicCovered fits in. It is meant for people who want a more collector-oriented and visually rich experience for local music than the standard Apple Music app typically provides.

Version 6.0 is now available on the Mac App Store, with improvements to stability, interface polish, speed, and the overall browsing experience.

I’d genuinely love to hear what local library users and album-oriented listeners think of it.
