is self shipping cringe?

wanted to make this especially because I'm writing and drawing something (i obviously keep for myself) which is basically a selfship with not a fictional character but a historical one. obviously i know it's only fiction, lmao, I'm not psycho about it (not saying, like "he's mine!!" or something like that). to clarify stuff, he existed more than 2050 years ago. I'm tormenting myself over this, because I don't know if i should be ashamed or not 😔
