How to redecorate Homestead quickly?

Do you guys move each item to a location and make spots at a time? Is there no “stash all” function that automatically removes all items from the ground so you can easily place your new layout? It’s so tiring.

I would have wanted a single button to stash them I understand there is multiple select but it doesn’t work when there’s even only 1 functional building. I understand functional buildings can’t be stored but it would just be okay to not allow it to close while functional buildings haven’t been out back.

Or maybe there are other ways, please teach me.
