Why are our electricity tariffs so expensive compared to GB?

Been looking particularly at EV tariffs and our absolute best tariff for night rate is 15.56p for Share Energy.

Meanwhile EV tariffs in England seem to be about half of that price, and some of them are not even necessarily requiring that to be night charging.

What gives?!
