Carian Knight Sword: is 50/50 Str/Int split good for damage?

I know technically I could get a magic infused Broadsword and get better damage or whatever, but I wanna commit to the Carian Knight set. I’ll be mostly doing sword and board, not a total Int build but still with the option of potent ranged sorceries and semi-frequent use of Carian Grandeur.

How much should the split be? 50/50? 60/40? Should I invest anything in Dex? I don’t wanna take the character into NG+ or too close to lvl 200 (not for PvP, just don’t wanna grind levels).
