Taxes..

Isn't it absolutely mad that the concept of being taxed on everything you do is just so broadly accepted and seen as normal by the people aka "society"? We are being taxed on everything we buy, on things we sell, on things we own (e.g land, property), on the money we earn, on the roads we drive on etc.. Do you think a lot of people ever question this madness? But then also, you'd start questioning other things which might get a little uncomfortable or confusing so lets just not start in the first place i guess.. We are basically taxed on our lives. But hey, at least most of us live in a "democracy" right? Where every 4-5 years you have the choice to vote on who is the least worse option and then you get patronized for another 4-5 years.
