BioWare-esque game design & Millenial writing?

General Questions - [NO SPOILERS]

I'm thinking about buying the game but:

I wanna know if the game falls or not into the (mostly) non-consequential, binary game design usually seen in BioWare's games. As much as I love some of their games, they end up being glorified graphic adventures date sims (with a few exceptions).

Through the years I've only heard/read good things about how revolutionary and complex this game is, and from what I've seen I'm not worried about the quality aspect of the gameplay and its systems; combat, roles etc but in terms of player agency and narrative freedom (which is the thing i care most in RPG's) idk what to think.

Turn-based games and the current type of colourful fantasy of D&D shown in BG3 it ain't my thing but i can adapt. Still i don't like what I've see from the CC.

I'm afraid to encounter another couple hundred hours game filled with 90% illusions of choice where you are little more of a trauma dumpster psychiatrist and babysitter to your companions, with friends and love relationships that feels robotic, cringe inducing, immature and unrealistic with always the same pathing:

Recruit - Listen about some BS of their past - Few Quest as a YesMan errand boy - more BS - Revelation - Kiss - You are now in a relationship, wait for the endgame to get into their pants! bruh

I don't mind a character like that sometimes, but when everyone follows the same design and archetype in their own echo chamber/bubble where nothing can go wrong... Ugh. I can't stand characters that are nothing without the players intervention/presence and their sole purpose is to get their problems fixed by the MC, outside of you they don't exist for no one. Why every single character has to have a trauma of some type? It's so silly Lol

Also i want to know how much freedom do you have in terms of morally grey decisions and outcomes. Not to sound edgy, but i don't want another game with no nuances and comically clear and stupid Good & Evil scale/decisions.

Maybe I'm biased but given how colourful, sassy and family friendly (?) the game atmosphere looks overall idk what to think. I know it may sound like blasphemy but for the love of God, i hope it's not just a bit more intricate DA: The Veilguard. I hope it takes its writing and tone seriously for the most part.

I want compelling writing, complex characters, tough, heartbreaking AND meaningful situations where i think to myself if i did the right call when acting, i don't want the game holding my hand into the right/good decision just to cater to my companions and everyone around you with the power of friendship where everyone is happy and no bad or ambiguous thinking and discrepancy exists.
