Is it normal for autistic people to have involuntary reactions in situations where it isn't appropriate to react in that certain way?
I'm starting to think that maybe not only autistic people but 2 weeks ago I started to smile involuntarily whenever I watch stuff with my celebrity crushes. It all started when I watched the only 2 episodes of New Girl where Alexandra Daddario (the actress I consider the most beautiful in the world) appears and I smiled involuntarily whenever she appeared. It later started to happen to me with other of my celebrity crushes. However this happens to me even in serious scenes. I just watched Mockingjay Part 1 again very recently and I smiled involuntarily whenever Katniss was on screen since I have a crush on Jennifer Lawrence even during the serious scenes like her epic speech. I think if I watched the movies with someone else they'd believe I'm not taking the scene seriously. In fact I also have a crush on both of my female professors of Swedish. I also now involuntarily smile whenever I look at them. They didn't seem to notice though
