Finding 1-month apartment in Barcelona (family + work) – getting rejected on Airbnb

Hey everyone,

I’m moving to Barcelona soon for work and will be coming with my wife kid. I’m trying to book a place for about 1 month but I’m getting rejected on Airbnb when I mention that I’m relocating or working.

I realized some hosts only accept “tourist” stays, which is fair, but it’s making things a bit tricky.

I’m looking for:

2 bedroom apartment: Kitchen + washing machine

Has anyone gone through this before?

Would really appreciate:

• Platforms or websites that are more “work/expat friendly”
• Specific apartments or companies that allow 1–2 month stays
• Any tips to avoid getting rejected on Airbnb
