Miyoo firmware Help

Can someone please make a walk through on downloading and updating firmware on your Mini plus?

a lot of people out here that are not hard core/ PC gamers and I am one of them.

A couple of questions here I am hoping someone can answer before I give up.

I get it, download the newest firmware from GitHub. Than what?! once saved do I transfer the whole compressed file to the new SD card? Do I unzip first then transfer to new one? I have seen a post that it's only the Img. file only. I've tried literally all 3 ways and when installing the SD, I plug the charger to the Mini+ and all it does is charge. WTF I'm I doing wrong? No update nothing except the charger logo.

Yes, I am using a new formated Fat32 SD card. I've done my share of research and share of work to find my issues and haven't found it. My last resort is asking the community here now.

Also,

can someone clarify if we move all the files from the old SD card unto the new one? or just the BIOS and Rom sections? I see posts saying only BIOs and no Rooms while others say don't download anything from the old card and use one of your chosen from the archives.

I've done emulators before and I'm not new nor do I consider myself an intermediate, somewhere in between. But man this thing got me frustrated and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
