Parrying is so difficult in Yotei
Just want to preface by saying that I played GoT and I thought the parrying mechanics were pretty much ideal. I'm usually pretty bad at parrying in most games, but GoT (and also AC Shadows) both made it quite palatable and fun
However in Ghost of Yotei so far parrying is incredibly difficult. Especially when you deal with more challenging enemies armed with shields or kurigasama, the combat feels more frustrating than rewarding. The consecutive blue strikes are the worst. I can parry the first one, but even though I smash the button I can never defend against the follow up strikes. It's also hard to tell when you should press the parry button with some attacks. Overall...it's just very frustrating and makes combat unenjoyable even when you survive. The combat in this game feels less like Tsushima and more like Dark Souls
