Does God bless non-believers?
I don’t know if my question will make any sense, but I'll try organising my thoughts as well as possible.
From what I’ve gather from other people, following God doesn’t necessarily mean you become happier or that everything in your life suddenly starts going well, since that shouldn’t be the goal. But, following God does make life better for many (it depends on many factors). I know Jesus didn’t promise ease in this world.
Given the fact we all have free will, our choices and surroundings also influence our situation.
There are many unbelievers that live pretty happy, fulfilling lives, surrounded by love and contentment, even though they never built a relationship with God.
I know Christians' ultimate goal isn’t to be fulfilled here but in Heaven.
We also know God loves believers and unbelievers the same.
So my question is: does God bless believers and unbelievers equally?
Bonus question (sort of unrelated): when people speak of God's blessings, what do they actually mean? Both material and non-material things?
