Any survival tips for Ironclad on A10?

I can't for the life of me keep up with the incoming damage.

Usually with Ironclad I just build towards big damage and try to bonk them before they bonk me, but on A10 it just seems like too much incoming and they eventually win the damage race.

Any tips on maybe a more defensive playstyle or how to survive?
