I am writing my first book a non-fiction about the personas of the heart. What are your honest views on this teaser?

To start with: what is a heart?

Most are taught that the heart is a biological pump a four-chambered engine that keeps you tethered to time. While that is physically true, it is a limited perspective.

In this realm, the heart is the tether of your existence. It is the link that either connects you to the Divine or disconnects you into the void. But there is no such thing as a universal "Heart." There are only individual Hearts.

You will meet them here in their varying stages of rot and resurrection: the bleeding, the pulsing, the stoned, and the blackened.

Zulm (injustice) acts like soot. With every wrong, a layer of soot settles on the heart.

A stoned heart the soot has piled up and compressed over time, turning the heart into rock. This heart has "survived" the blackening by hardening itself until it can no longer feel.

A blackened heart is active in its state. It does not just carry the stain; it displays it. It seeks to spread its soot to every other heart it touches.

Some hearts are new to their cruelty; others are stagnant and dying in their maturity. Some hold a candle of light to find their way, while others carry a heavy lamp that is hollow and devoid of fire.

We are not here to admire the light or pity the cold. We are here to listen to them scream, to watch them lie, and if there is any mercy left to finally understand how they heal.
