RE9: How many shots does it take to kill a Licker with grace’s handgun?

I’m at 91% game progress… I’m at the section where I have to “head to central refining systems — find a way to open the door”, but I need to get through this room full of lickers and humanoid monsters. I don’t have more blue acid, have 1 empty bottle, knife is gone, but 70 bullets for my handgun…
