Since this is the first time we’re transitioning, I know it’s freaking out a lot of us. This kind of failures at this stage is kind of normal. It’s how we learn from here and move forward is the key.

We’re in a similar position like Manchester United post Sir Alex. MS & Fergie are a lot alike to both the teams. They take care off almost everything and exceptionally well to the point no one else can even come close.

Wanting Rutu to be like MS is impossible. Rutu is Rutu. Accept it. The management & coaching staff are responsible for this rock bottom situation.

Fans like us putting pressure on Rutu only drags CSK more into the mud. Whomever the new captain will also be in this same situation like Rutu.

The real focus should be Fleming & his coaching staff. He should’ve adapted to the home pitch much faster and bought the kind of players who would suit this newly evolved tournament. Their backward mindset in the mega auction & mini auction costed the team.

If you see Man United, they are still looking for Sir Alex level manager and they keep changing their coaches due to the impatience of fans meanwhile teams like Arsenal is reaping benefits of Arteta. I know they are two different sports with different tournament lengths but I don’t want us to wait 17 years for a trophy by fumbling auction after auction like this.

Blaming Rutu won’t solve anything
