What red flags should I look for when buying a Pioneer drive to avoid getting a fake?

Im looking to get a spare drive. I have an LG drive but want to get a spare and preferably a Pioneer drive. In the UK I can really only find them being sold on Ebay but, what red flags should I be looking out for in order to avoid buying a fake drive.
